I often find myself connecting with people during times of difficulty, uncertainty, or transition, when life feels overwhelming or the path forward is unclear. While these moments can be challenging, they can also offer opportunities for reflection, growth, and change. I believe that even in the midst of upheaval, we each carry strengths and resources that can help us navigate what lies ahead. My role is to walk alongside you through these experiences, helping you draw on your existing strengths, make sense of what you’re facing, and explore new ways of moving forward. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin; we can work together to find your footing, one step at a time.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that each person’s journey is unique, and that meaningful change begins with feeling safe, understood, and supported. I strive to create a compassionate, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences, make sense of your emotions, and approach life’s challenges with curiosity and self-compassion.
Drawing from client-centred therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and existential approaches, I tailor our work to your individual needs, experiences, and goals. Together, we may explore patterns that have shaped your life, develop new ways of navigating difficult emotions, and discover different perspectives that open the door to growth and change.
My years working as a fitness instructor and yoga teacher deepened my passion for understanding people and supporting their overall well-being. Through this work, I came to appreciate the connection between mind and body, and the importance of caring for ourselves in a holistic way. The pandemic further highlighted the importance of mental health and the need for compassionate support during times of uncertainty and change, ultimately inspiring my transition into psychotherapy. This path has allowed me to bring together my longstanding interest in well-being with a deeper commitment to supporting people through life’s challenges, transitions, and opportunities for growth.
